U316 Project - "Iron Fertilisation of the Oceans" in 3000 words
The following sub-site contains the project I submitted for my
Open University course
"The Environmental Web".
It addresses the question
"Will iron-seeding the oceans limit atmospheric carbon dioxide and ameliorate global warming?"
(or, "Will Messing with the Oceans Mend the Atmosphere?")
Within the terms of the project:
- Word limit was 3000 (mine is 3002)
- The page-structure was fixed (although I split "evidence" into "Experimental" and "Natural")
- The site was set up using the Open University "WebWizard" - a tool which allowed no choice of presentation, and a limited web-design
The U316-project site will not change after the submission date of 7th October, 2003.
The main site developed as my interest in the subject grew. It will be "under development" for the foreseeable future, with additions as new information is published; and is not so limited in words!
