I had a huge amount of help writing this site - if i named everyone, i'd double its size :-)
Help came from many areas; not only from the "Geology" aspects and "Web design" assistance, but general surfer-ship too.
Apologies if I've missed you out.
In particular, i'd like to thank:

General help
- Dave Kemp, the assistant curator of the Gosport Museum, who gave me valuable time to give me invaluable information, sources, and a tour of the collectors room and the displays in the museum.
- All my Open University friends in the "OU Geology Society" online Conference, who answered many questions and gave invaluable assistance, advice - and corrections!
- And last, but by no means least - the geography teacher who I met on the "Tour De Mont Blanc" in 1986. When faced with a chunk of rock studded with marine fossils on an Alpine mountain pass she gave us an impromptu geology lecture, which sent me rushing home to sign up for an 'O'-level evening class and now my Open University Earth Science study. A lasting passion, ignited by that walk in the hills.

Specific page help
-
Dr Jeremy Young at the Natural History Museum, who not only gave me permission to use his photographs, but very kindly corrected the first draft of my "coccolith" page - (though anything that crept in since is my responsibility)

Web Design Help
- All my Open University friends in the "Web Design" Conference who answered all sorts of questions, however trivial - often, within minutes of posting.
- Bert Doorn, my "mentor" since I started dabbling in web design. For clear-and-simple sites (like this one!), come to me - but for really classy and stylish sites, his are the Best freelance designs I've seen the Web. Check out his BetterWebDesign Client portfolio - and tell him I sent you :-)
